Providing incentives for the creation of ideas and knowledge in the Cypriot economy is of utmost importance for rejuvenating economic and social development through innovative initiatives.
To achieve this, Volt proposes, among other things:

Creating and supporting connected research facilities and innovation hubs.
Supporting efforts in the development of fiber-optic networks, public and free WiFi, and public cloud.
Creating connected institutes to promote collaboration between the academic and private sectors.
Supporting and funding pan-European research in key areas.
Facilitating the acquisition of expert visas.
Prioritizing improvements in digital infrastructure and setting standards for open data to meet the future needs of the private sector and the public.
Reforming and strengthening patent laws.
Promoting a European artificial intelligence initiative.
