Invitation to the Founding Congress of Volt

Volt Cyprus is ready for its first presentation to the public. On Sunday, December 3, at 10:45 at the Filoxenia Conference Center, during our Founding and Statutory Congress, we will lay the foundations for the future many of us dream of. Progressive, European, Green, Peaceful.

A future where the state will be caring for the young and the elderly, for the vulnerable and marginalized citizens of our country. A future that will safeguard the equality and equal participation of citizens. A future that will have no room for corruption, wastefulness of national wealth, anarchic development, marginalization, fear leading to hatred and racism. A future where all the youth of our country will have a voice, a role, and space to shape the Cyprus we deserve. A future where the economy will thrive within a healthy institutional framework that supports entrepreneurship and innovation for the benefit of all, not specific interests.

The time has come for a progressive, collective, transparent and accountable Cyprus to have a voice. This is what Volt Cyprus will aim to do.

We call on all democratic citizens who feel ashamed every time corruption and entanglement are normalized, citizens who share our vision, principles, and values, to join us in the effort for a better tomorrow.

On Sunday, December 3, we turn the page. Volt members will approve the establishment and statute of the party, as well as the Political Committee that will lead the party in the European Elections and their Congress in 2024.

Let's change Cyprus and Europe for the better. Your voice, your will, your Cyprus. Come join us, we can do it!

Volt Kıbrıs sivil toplum karşısına ilk çıkışına hazırdır. 3 Aralık Pazar günü saat 10:45'te Lefkoşa Filoxenia Konferans Merkezi'nde Kuruluş ve Tüzük Kongremizde çoğumuzun hayalini kurduğu geleceğin temellerini atacağız. İlerici, Avrupalı, Yeşil, Barışçıl bir gelecek.

Devletin genç ve yaşlılara, ülkemizin savunmasız ve dışlanmış vatandaşlarına kucaklayıcı olacağı bir gelecek. Vatandaşların eşitliğini güvence altına alacak bir gelecek. Yolsuzluğa, milli servetin israfına, anarşik kalkınmaya, ötekileştirmeye, nefrete ve ırkçılığa yol açan korkuya yer kalmayacak bir gelecek. Ülkemizin tüm gençlerinin hak ettikleri Kıbrıs'ı şekillendirmek için söz sahibi olacağı, rol ve fırsata sahip olacağı bir gelecek. Sadece belirli kişilerin çıkarlarını değil, bütünün yararını gözetecek şekilde, sağlıklı bir kurumsal çerçevede gelişen ve girişimciliği ve yenilikçiliği destekleyen bir ekonominin öngörülebildiği bir gelecek.

İlericilik, kollektiflik, şeffaflık ve hesap verebilirlik anlayışına sahip olan bir Kıbrıs’ın sesini duyurmasının zamanı geldi. Volt Kıbrıs'ın yapacağı da tam olarak budur.

Yolsuzluk ve karmaşanın normalleşmesinden utanç duyan tüm vatandaşlarımızı, vizyonumuzu, ilkelerimizi ve değerlerimizi paylaşan tüm demokrasi taraftarlarını daha iyi bir yarın için çabamıza katılmaya çağırıyoruz.

3 Aralık Pazar günü temiz bir sayfa açıyoruz. Volt üyeleri, partinin kuruluşu ve anayasası yanı sıra, partiyi 2024'teki Avrupa Parlamentosu seçimleri ve devamında partiyi seçim kurultayına götürecek Siyasi Komiteyi de onaylayacak. Gelin Kıbrıs'ı ve Avrupa'yı daha iyiye doğru değiştirelim. Kendi sesin, kendi iraden, kendi Kıbrıs’ın. Hade! Başaracağız!
