Costa Constanti
Costa Constanti, married with 3 daughters, was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1980. He has paternal roots in Yialousa (Karpasia, Famagusta) and maternal roots in Lapithos and Karmi (Kyrenia), and Agios Loucas and Trachona (Nicosia). Raised in the diaspora, he lived, worked and studied across Europe, the Middle East and Asia before migrating to Cyprus in 2006, bringing with him experience in psychology, politics, history and international relations and law. He is Director of CONSTANTi.org, a consultancy specializing in social and political analysis, research and project management in areas such as conflict, civil society and diplomacy. His professional experience includes managing EU projects at the University of Nicosia and 14 years as Policy and Public Diplomacy Manager at the Australian High Commission in Nicosia.
Costa has led and supported initiatives on migrant integration, education, social change, gender equality, reforestation and road safety. In 2025, he received the Cyprus Diaspora Forum’s CYDIA Movement for Change Award for his work with NGOs and civil society in Cyprus and the diaspora. A committed human rights and peace-building advocate, he is a founding board member and Co-President of the Cyprus Academic Dialogue (CAD) and has served on the board of AHDR (Home for Cooperation). He is also Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Academy Cyprus (DIAC). He produces the Terra Nullius Cyprus podcast for the Island Talks channel and serves as Cyprus rapporteur for Freedom House, reporting on transparency, governance and minority rights. Politically, he is an elected member of Volt Cyprus’ Political Council and Nicosia District Committee, serving on its Human Rights and International Relations Committees.
