A Solution is the only Solution

After nine years of stagnation following the tragic collapse of the negotiations at Crans-Montana, there finally appears to be renewed momentum on the Cyprus issue, allowing at least a glimmer of hope that the catastrophic outcome of permanent partition of the island can still be avoided. Naturally, the passage of time has not been without consequences, and the realities—both in Cyprus and internationally—are very different from what they were in 2017.
