Alexis Hatzinikolaou was born in 1990 in Limassol. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Education of the University of Ioannina and works as a teacher in a primary school in the province of Limassol.

Through his daily contact with students, he has formed the firm belief that education is a fundamental lever for social progress, equality and meaningful change.

His interests focus on the environment, energy, the primary sector and sustainable development. He attaches particular importance to the challenges of the climate crisis and social justice, believing in the power of citizen participation, dialogue and practical solutions that improve everyone's daily life.

He is particularly passionate about farming and the processing of agricultural products. He believes that people should be actively involved in the process of producing their own food and, for this reason, in 2020 he and his family decided to leave the city and settle in a village in the Limassol district, putting his values and beliefs into practice. He utilises the land almost twelve months a year, covering most of his nutritional needs and putting the principles of sustainability into practice.

As an active citizen, he gives presentations on environmental awareness in primary schools. He also actively participates in volunteer tree planting and forest firefighting groups, environmental non-governmental organisations, and bicommunal activities.
