Anna was born in 1979 in Donetsk, Ukraine, in a strict urban environment with military traditions. During her school years, she excelled in ballet and singing, while developing a distinct love for animals and environmental awareness. She studied Economics and Business Administration at the University of Kramatorsk and worked for a while in her home country, before securing a job in Cyprus, which has since become her second home.

In 2004, she gave birth to her first child, who was diagnosed with a rare syndrome, leading Anna to a long struggle to defend his rights to health, well-being and inclusion. She found herself in the United States of America in order to improve her son's chances for a better life, gaining through this tragic circumstance the strength to devote herself to our fellow human beings who are su ffering. This experience also determined her decision to undertake additional training and education as a rehabilitation and physical wellness therapist, and since 2019 she has run her own therapy centre in Larnaca.

Anna is a single parent and lives with her children and mother in Pyla. She is an active member of the Ukrainian and Russian-speaking community in the province of Larnaca and speaks fluent Greek and English. Her decision to join Volt's ticket is a conscious e ffort to bring to the fore a part of Cypriot society that other political spaces ignore and underestimate. She was drawn to Volt because of its people, its sensibilities, its European orientation and its bicommunal character.
