Frixos Vryonides was born in 1988 in Nicosia and has roots from Agros and Spilia. He grew up in Archangelos and Lakatamia, and for the past nine years has been residing in Pano Deftera. After graduating from Agios Georgios Lyceum of Lakatamia in 2006, he completed his military service in the National Guard, serving at outposts along the Green Line.
He subsequently studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which he graduated in 2011, and in 2012 obtained a Master’s Degree (LLM) in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
Since 2013, he has been practising law in Nicosia as a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Nicosia Bar Association. He has experience in a broad range of legal matters, both in and out of court, as well as in issues relating to corporate compliance and personal data protection. Since 2018, he has been registered in the Public Register of Certified Persons (Advanced Level) of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
His involvement in public affairs began already during his student years in Athens, where he served as President of the National Federation of Cypriot Students in Athens (EFEΚ Athens) (2008–2009).
Within Volt, he is the Coordinator of the Institutions Committee and a member of the Legal Committee of the party.
He has a particular interest in issues relating to the functioning of institutions, the quality of democracy, equal opportunities and social justice.
In his public presence, he places emphasis on evidence-based public discourse, rationalism and citizen participation, with the aim of a more modern, open and fair society.
He is married and the father of three children, aged 8, 6 and 1.
