Origin:

He was born in Deryneia in 1944, grew up in Strovilia and studied at the Famagusta Commercial Lyceum (Secondary School). He is married and has two children. His home is in the enclosed city of Famagusta.

Education and Professional Career: Doctor of Professional Studies in Educational Management with a Master's degree in the same subject, offering his services to Middlesex University's Work Based Learning Programmes and the Department of Arts and Sciences of Education at the European University Cyprus, preparing students for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes and for City and Guilds examinations at KES College.

He has served as a teacher and headmaster of secondary schools.

Interests:
