I feel particularly honoured and delighted to submit my candidacy with VOLT Cyprus for the parliamentary elections for the District of Famagusta, my beloved city, which I left at the age of 13. VOLT and the exceptional people who comprise it are the political space I have chosen to belong to. It is a party that I believe represents me.
Since the opening of the roadblocks in 2003, I have been involved in various bi-communal groups. In 2017, I took part in the Unite Cyprus Now delegation to Crans Montana. I am interested in the Cyprus problem and the reunification of Cyprus. I believe that Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots deserve a better future in a peaceful country without roadblocks and conflicts. I believe that we owe our children and future generations something better than what our country is today.
I hold a degree in Social Sciences (sociology and psychology) from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, and a master's degree (MA) in Organisational Psychology from Columbia University in New York. I worked at the Cyprus Fulbright Commission for 25 years, initially as an educational advisor and later as a senior programme officer.
