He was born in 1985 in Nicosia, with roots in Kato Zodia, Dali, Nicosia, Marathasa and Kaimakli.

He studied law and European studies at the University of Strasbourg, where he also obtained a master's degree in international and European law. After completing his studies, he did an internship at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg.

Since 2010, he has been practising law at the Velaris & Velaris law firm, which is a continuation of the firm founded by his grandfather in Morphou in 1929.

In 2020, he was elected to the Nicosia Bar Association Committee, where he remains to this day, having been re-elected in 2023.

Since 2016, he has taught various subjects, including constitutional law and inheritance law, as a visiting lecturer at UCLan Cyprus University. He is one of the authors of the legal treatise "Tenancy Law in Cyprus" and has also published articles on legal and political topics.

He has always been an active citizen with a particular interest and concern for the peaceful resolution of the Cyprus problem and the reconciliation of the two major communities in Cyprus. For this reason, he learned Turkish at a young age and sought to participate in various initiatives aimed at mutual understanding and promoting historical truth. He was also an active member of organised groups in the Morphou District, including Digenis Akritas, of which he was president in 2011-12, and the Youth Council.

In 2023, when the initiative to create Volt in Cyprus was launched, he actively participated in the founding committee and served as co-chair of the party during the period 2023-24. In 2024, at Volt's first electoral congress, he was elected vice-president.
