Michalis Kalopaidis' career combines entrepreneurship with the arts and culture.
He holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Arts and Media from Columbia College Chicago and a master's degree in the same field from Middlesex University in London.
He has worked for various organisations abroad, and upon his return to Cyprus in 2008, he founded Zedem Media, an award-winning production company operating in the international market.
He created Larnaka Talks, a voluntary initiative that brings together technocrats, local government officials, elected representatives and citizens of Larnaca under one roof, with the aim of producing speci fic, constructive proposals on important issues such as the environment, entrepreneurship, accessibility and sustainable development.
Michalis volunteers as President of the Larnaca Film Club and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Larnaca House of Literature and Arts. He is a founding member of the Cyprus Animation Association, a member of the Cyprus Directors' Union and the creator of Culture & Tonic, a podcast focusing on the creative industry in Cyprus.
At Volt Cyprus, he contributes to shaping our positions as Coordinator of the Culture Committee.
