Silia Potoudi Macpherson was born in Nicosia. However, her family home was in Kyrenia. She studied International Relations at the University of Reading and then Middle Eastern Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She worked as a journalist in London. Although she lived in Great Britain, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus was always her love and she repatriated in 2015. The reunification of our island remains her passion. She works as a potter.
