He was born in Famagusta and graduated from the "Chrysi Akti" Primary School. After the destruction of 1974, he lived in Larnaca and graduated from the (then) Agios Georgios Gymnasium.

He often participates in various events and activities of the reunification movement, as an active member of bicommunal groups since the mid-1990s. Of particular importance was his participation with other friends in 1998 in the publication of "Hade", the first bilingual magazine in Cyprus, as well as in the creation of the first bicommunal folk group called "Steps for Peace".

Today, he is actively involved in the Pan-European Vision, which is being developed by VOLT, to deepen European integration with the ultimate goal of upgrading the EU to a federal state. At the same time, he is fighting for European principles and values, such as the rule of law and equality, human rights and sustainable development, transparency and accountability, to be fully implemented in our country. This activity was and is inspired by the global ideals of peace and mutual respect between people and nations, which unfortunately have been lacking in our country for many decades. Corruption has reached pandemic proportions, destroying the lives and futures of all Cypriots, especially the younger generation on both sides of the barbed wire fence that divides our island.

He is the proud father of two adult children and a granddaughter and works with the hope that they will live in a better Cyprus than the one they are inheriting.
