I grew up believing that if something isn't working properly, you don't just complain about it, you try to fix it.
I studied at the University of Manchester (MEng) and lived and worked in the UK for 12 years. There, I learned what it means to have a state that trusts its citizens, supports entrepreneurship, and operates according to rules that are enforced.
When I returned, I started my own technology company from scratch. Without any ready-made paths or "connections." Today, the company is healthy and operates internationally. I manage it, work daily as an engineer, and at the same time invest in its people, their education, development, and autonomy. I believe in a modern work model that respects people and work-life balance.
Through my professional experience in Cyprus, I have seen firsthand how bureaucracy, complex procedures, and a lack of transparency can sti fle innovation and young people who want to create. I believe in a simpler, more digital, and fairer state for small businesses and young professionals.
At the same time, I am active in the open source community and support the principle of "public money, public code": when something is paid for by citizens, it should belong to citizens. Transparency is not a technical issue; it is a matter of democracy.
I do not come from the political establishment. I come from the real economy and everyday work.
I want a Cyprus that keeps its young people here, attracts serious investment, and operates with transparency, meritocracy, and European self-confidence.
